04 - Turn dough onto lightly floured surface. Gently knead just until dough holds together, avoiding overworking. Shape into round, slightly flattened loaf approximately 2 inches thick.
05 - Place loaf on prepared baking sheet. Cut deep X across top surface with sharp knife.
06 - Bake 30-35 minutes until golden brown and loaf sounds hollow when tapped on bottom.
07 - Transfer to wire rack. Cool minimum 30 minutes before slicing to ensure proper texture.
